I am trying to sync a bunch of media to my laptop. I am traveling soon and don’t want to use mobile data to keep young ones occupied. However, when I open the Plex App on my browser, sign into my account, find media I want to sync, click sync, the Laptop is not listed. I have Plex Home Theater installed on it and it’s signed into my account. What am I doing wrong?
Mobile sync only works for the mobile apps https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200889968-Mobile-Sync-Overview. You can download from directly with the Web app ( i understand they are not in plex anymore so watch status and such isn’t tracked )
Thanks for the reply. I did some more digging and managed to find the mobile download version for the laptop. Syncing all my shows now. Thanks a lot for the help though.
So where did you find the mobile download version? I have been looking for it also.
