I installed plex on a Synology ds218play, I always made the updates, unfortunately it often happens that the plex processes block my nas. I contacted Synology but they confirmed to me that the problem was with Plex. Unfortunately I would like to solve this problem which causes my nas to block, otherwise I will have to cancel the subscription.

plex normally uses a lot of ram and it happens sometimes that it brings to 80 90% the ram of my nas that begins to paginate (swapping) and to use a lot of cpu up to block the nas
I followed your advice and the problem seems to have been solved. it’s been about 5 days since I made the changes you suggested and the percentage of memory occupied now varies from 32 to 50%. Thank you
