Synology: How to access /volume1/@appstore/Plex Media Server/

Hi,

I need to do some changes into the dlnaclientprofiles.xml file and I understand that it’s located somewhere in /volume1/@appstore/Plex Media Server/Resources/

Using Telnet I can see the folders but I have no idea how to access or browse them. Need some help, plase.

I have a Synology DS411 +II with DSM 4.1 and the latest PMS.

Thanks!

Easiest I find is to use Winscp and navigate to the folder and edit the files you want

Thanks for your reply!
Can you please explain what parameters you enter in order to get access?

I have installed Winscp but can't figure out to use it.

Thanks,

Thank you this helped

If I may provide the easier method?

  1. Open the Plex share in FileStation
  2. Navigate down into the “Plex Media Server” directory
  3. Create a Profiles directory if one does not exist. (Default is to not create one)
  4. Store your self-created and/or modified profiles here. These are preserved between updates
  5. Restart PMS to activate your profile(s)

During package upgrade, I remove the previous contentts of the appstore. This guarantees a clean and proper installation.

The entire contents of the Plex share is untouched.
