I attached a verbose log. Just in case. I cleared logs, restarted. Then used my IPad, which always causes it to crash. Then waited and restarted it. This is the logs for that.

It freezes multiple times a day. I have to stop it and restart it. This started after some x updates ago. Its been running great on synology for a while.

I have been using plex for, I don’t know, 10 years. I use to have a Intel NUC running windows. Just started 6 month ago, running it on a new DS1019+ I bought. Wanting to simplify my system.

I will read this article for sure. I don’t have that complex of an install. I just installed it, and pointed to the media. That is it.

I have 3030 folders. I am trying this.

  • Updated to the latest version
  • Did the folder fix - Rebooted
  • Turned off the movie indexing for the folder. Not sure why I turned that on, on synology. I don’t run DS Video. I might have initially then removed it.

I will report back if that fixes the issues.

Regarding logs, got it. Sorry about that.

How do I “You need to clear out your Sync lists and delete any failed/incomplete Sync jobs.”

Here are the logs requested. After install. I have set it to debug. Just not sure if the previous verbose are still in there. Just did not want to delete whatever was there.

Thanks for your help BTW!

I did optimize the database last night sometime during this process. Did it again for good measure.

I had one sync going on with an IPAD. Removed it. Will remove from the device as well.

I have tried to break it since all the changes, which was pretty easy to do before, and have not been able too so.

If it freezes again. I will post logs.

Again, thanks for your help!

Just to report back. I have not had an issue since. Thanks for all your help.
