Synology Plex not working anymore - "No Soup for you"

Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309
Player Version#: website

On my phone it works fine, I can see the libraries, play music, movies. But if I go to plex website I login, it finds the user, I enter the password and I don’t see anything from my server, it seems like if its offline.

It was working fine before, any ideas how to fix that? when I go to settings on the website don’t even see the server settings in there, just user settings.

thanks.

Hi,

I tried above instructions but now I get this error:

I’m accessing Plex as indicated: http://NAS_IP_ADDRESS:32400/web
Let me know if there is something else I can try or if I should re-install Plex on my NAS.

Thanks for your help on this.

yeah, is running, I tried couple times already to stop - start Plex service, re-started NAS just in case as well. I tried with Plex not running on NAS going to http://IP_ADDRESS:32400/web and is not found at all, started Plex service in NAS and then I can login but get above error.

Correct, I’m replacing IP with my NAS IP address.

Also to be clear, before the issue was couldn’t access Plex on my browser, was getting “No Soup for you” error. After renaming preferences file to old, Plex shows offline in all devices, including phone, and other browsers.

Firewall is not enable on NAS.

Thank you for your help on this. I was able to resolve issue. I uninstalled Plex, and removed the server from my account. After I installed Plex and went to my IP_address:32400/web it couldn’t find my server to add, so what I did was to launch a VDI I have from my NAS and went to my IP_address:32400/ and from there I was able to find server and set it up. Also I had XML error, so I had to rename it to preferences.xml.old and then I was able to set it up.

I didn’t really wanted to upload my logs here on the post open for everybody to see it and find my NAS domain address.

Not sure what happened since it was working fine for a while. May be a Synology update or Plex update, sometimes I hate updates.

Thanks again.
