I am using a Synology DS216play with an express vpn running for torrents, etc. and I am trying to set up remote access for Plex. I have an xfinity router/modem with the port 32400 open and still cannot get it to work. Admittedly, I am not very tech savvy and have tried a few recommendations that I have seen in the other discussions but obviously could not get that to work. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Thank you, I have tried following the directions in that thread but for some reason I cannot get it to work, obviously I am missing something or not understanding. Is there a “simpler” way for me to accomplish this?
