So 2 weeks ago my nas system crashed and I lost everything. Upon getting everything back on, I was greated with a my server could not get a direct connection. All of the devices on my network have static ips and they are all correct. so I renamed my server and restarted everything and it seems like that issue is fixed. However, I used to be able to play videos without converting at all, now the system stutters. So, I have it on automatic and converting also does not keep up after awhile. It starts stuttering and start/stopping. Any suggestions?
Ok this maybe a bit misleading it happened quicker tonight and not sure if the other usage of the nas system contributed. Typically I can run it for about an hour then it starts. Plex Media Server Logs_2018-09-13_22-04-11.zip (3.3 MB)
A movie or show? I usually turn on Family guy when I go to bed (nap or night) I’m usually asleep by the end of first or second. Then I wake up and it is stuttering this would be about an hour after falling asleep or so.

Thats odd, because I am pretty sure this was ONLY wayched through my samsung tv plex client. It worked 100% without any problems (I was using it to see if problems also happened on the tv and not just on my amazon fire tv. There is a chance my fire tv tried to access it and it failed but i know it worked on Samsung tv.
Ok so i ran the batch file on all of my movies and found one. It takes awhile so I have not ran it on my shows. I will do that shortly and let it run all day tomorrow. I also did some work on my nas and D:\ drive which has helped alot on my slowness factor (I had too many symbolic links).
I still don’t see how what we are dealing with has anything to do with that one file however. I will still need to continue to troubleshoot my plex and why it is acting up through my amazon fire.
Ok so I am unsure of the name of the file. I went to bed about 11 and started watching family guy. It made it through at least 1 episode. When I woke up a little later it was stuttering. I did find a couple family guys that had an issue and I have deleted those. Attached Logs
My logs aren’t good enough. It was the last thing played. I have been trying to fulfill all of your requests.
My ffmpeg has been running for practically 3 days now. I have found multiple errors, but only a few episodes on family guy. A quick scan of my log file indicates the problem was more than likely

This would also jive with my previous post “I went to bed about 11 and started watching family guy. It made it through at least 1 episode. When I woke up a little later it was stuttering.”
I’m sorry my responses were not up to your standard, may we continue?
Update: I rescanned the one file listed above and it shows 0 errors.
This is very poor customer service to someone who is a plex paid lifetime member. I have no idea what instructions I have not followed. maybe some help here? I have no idea what your attitude above is about but a little more explanation might go a long way
@trumpy81 Again I asked for clarification as to what you have not got I sent logs, I sent the file, you can see that it direct played. What else you need?
~ Go ahead and remove all ur media libraries from PMS (for the time being) so plex is virgin install without any entries whatsoever.
~ Restart/Reboot the NAS/PMS server
~ download that PMS log and post it up here for perusal.
The idea here is to get past all those loopbacks in your last PMS log. Then I can poke around further. When I mean to remove ur media libraries I don’t mean to delete them or anything, just remove the entries from PMS even seeing those media. Lemme know & good luck.
