Tautulli - Monitor your Plex Media Server

Has the idea of building a Plex Channel to see Tautulli results been brought up? It’d be good to be able to see the dashboards from the comfort of my Rokus.

v2.1.9 (2018-05-21)
Notifications:
New: Added “live” to notification parameters.

Does this refer to Plex DVR Live TV notifications? If so are they activated by default?

No idea what you are asking. It’s just a {live} parameter which is a 0 or a 1.

I am using Outlook.com/Hotmail to send email notifications (from Tautullli) to a Facebook group. The email gets there fine, but the image doesn’t show up, I just get:

[res.cloudinary.com/…/f_a…/v1527007288/poster_7869.png]
Currently Atomic Blonde is being watched, which should be a good show. The basic story is An undercover MI6 agent is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents.

Is there a way to get the image to appear in the Facebook group posting?

You can’t post images on Facebook via email.

And am I correct in understanding that the Facebook agent doesn’t work? Or does it…

You have to get Facebook to approve your app.

For a bit of time I miss a lot of data in Tautulli, but only in Internet Explorer:

Libraries, Users, History, Users…
In Settings I see a lot of “Loading configuration table….”
In Watch Statistics on front page it says “Loading stats…”
In Setting > Homepage > Sections + Watch statistics are unticked, while they are all ticked in Firefox.

It all works fine in Firefox, Chrome, a mobile browser and the Tautulli app.

Sample screenshot enclosed.

Running Tautulli v2.1.9
Running Python 2.7.8
Running Internet Explorer 11.4817134.0
Running Firefox 60.0.1
Running Java v. 8 (update 171)

No idea what you are asking. It’s just a {live} parameter which is a 0 or a 1.

Thanks. What does the ‘live’ parameter do exactly?

Indicates if it’s live TV. 0 = No, 1 = Yes.

That’s exactly what I’m after

I currently have one rule to exclude notifications for my user account ‘User is not Trial_Master’

What parameters do I use to set up a rule for all users (expect me) to notify when live TV is being watched? I’m currently not receiving any notifications when someone is watching live TV.

Internet Explorer doesn’t support the advanced javascript calls Tautulli uses.
See a previous issue discussion here where no ‘fix’ (to Tautulli) will be released for IE11.

@JonnyWong16 - that being said, it MIGHT be syntax issue in script that, for whatever reason, Chrome/Firefox ignore or continue?

SCRIPT1006: Expected ')'
script.js (1,46)
SCRIPT5009: 'getCookie' is undefined
home (364,5)
SCRIPT5009: 'showMsg' is undefined
home (949,9)
SCRIPT5009: 'showMsg' is undefined
home (1003,9)

Is there a way to create condition logic that says if a notification has been sent out for the item playing, say in the last 24 hours, then do NOT send a notification again?

If so, how??

Having problems with Tautulli V2.1.9 new install behind a caddy reverse https:// proxy setup. I can access the UI no problem but whenever I try and save settings I can see:

!Please verify your settings

at the bottom of the web page.

There are no errors in the logs

Does anyone have a working setup to notify on live tv streaming?

You don’t need anything. Live TV should notify by default.

It used to a couple of updates back, but it doesn’t anymore?

Added Tautulli about a month ago. It was working great and announcing when things were added to the server for my friends and family.

Then Plex updated recently. And then Tautulli updated and my newsletter has started throwing errors when sending. Rather than the standard template (haven’t made any changes to the layout) I get nothing but code referencing a Mako error.

When I preview the newsletter in settings, it shows up correctly, so I’m baffled as to why, when the .html is fully created that it throws-up all over itself.

I have also tried just saving it as an HTML file and sending it out manually, or uploading to a server, but the HTML file is giving me the Mako error.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing has changed.

Any guidance for a relative noob?

Thanks!
