hi
i configured Public Tautulli Domain but as newsletter_static_url i always get th eip adress from my diskstation. what i have to do that a domain is used within the newsletter_static_url? THX
Now it is getting weird. I received the newsletter emailing on schedule but it didn’t use any of the graphics from my self-hosted site (they were custom). instead it sent with all the default graphics hosted by you. I’m guessing this is exactly what you don’t want to happen. When I checked the web interface, it was blank for the Public Tautulli domain (maybe I forgot to save it?) but the warning no longer shows on the preview and the newsletter that was sent, as I say, used your default graphics. When I set my self host it’s throwing up now. It’s like working in reverse. (Not sure but my self-host site could have a problem due to hot-linking protection.)
Not pushing but I was wondering when you were anticipating the new release to hit?
Just curious. It’s working great other than the newsletter issue I asked about several pages back.
Thanks!

Enable self-hosted newsletters.
Just installed a new instance of Tautulli on my Windows PC (have been running it on my NAS for a while now). Everything went smooth but I keep getting the “pyOpenSSL module is missing” error when enabling HTTPS, even after installing pyOpenSSL. Any idea what could be causing the error?
I have Python and Tautulli installed on different drives and am wondering if this is causing the issue (wouldn’t think so but can’t think of anything else).
Thanks in advance!
I have just installed Tautulli and really like it!! Very nice monitoring and it is capable to be used with my smart home appliances, so I’m very happy!
Only downside is that is seems as if my plex server is not sleeping anymore after Tautulli is installed… Any help on this?

Tautulli makes websocket connections to/from Plex, causing Plex to always see activity.
I’m not the expert, but I’m reasonably sure there’s no way to allow the Plex server to sleep.
Most end-user instances of Plex in the world would expect to be available remotely 24/7.
The only idea I can think of is that if you have some script/tool waking up the Plex server, you automate startup of Tautulli when Plex is awoken.

Just yesterday I noticed that the default graphics, specifically the Tautuilli logo and the PLEX logo on each of my graphics had the blue question mark, like the default template couldnt find the graphics, but all the rest of the DVD covers etc were fine (hosted on one of the preferred sites).
Any ideas?
Hi,
First: Love Tautulli and the Newsletter Feature - great work.
Using Newsletters with 2 selected Libraries -> works.
Now i selected 2 more Libraries to be included in the Newsletter. But when I add new Items there they wont be seen in the Newsletter.
Only differenc with the 2 other Libraries is that the 2 that dont work are not selected to be on Deck

Thank you - you are awesome
One more thing: Ive deleted 1 Library in PMS - but it still shows up in Tautulli.
Anything I have to trigger to get it removed in Tautulli?
Would this be correct?
I have the problem since a few days that every library is double contained. What do I have to do to make it work like I only have one? If I delete one under Libraries, both are suddenly gone and I had to restore the backup.
Anybody have an idea how I can fix this?
Hi again
I upgraded from the old PlexPy product I had donated to help with, and I think I’ve got the new Tautulli v2.19 running fine on my MacMini server, except for the occasional lockup which forces me to restart Safari.
The only thing I can’t seem to fix is the constant pop-up asking that I UPDATE or DISMISS. Even if I update, it goes through a process of doing something, but comes up with the same prompt again. (see attached)
Any Ideas?
Regards,
Doug

Thank you JonnyWong16.
I execute the command
Old-Mac-Mini:/ doug$ sudo chown -R tautulli:tautulli /applications/Tautulli
chown: tautulli: illegal group name
Old-Mac-Mini:/ doug$
The terminal prompt comes back with.
chown: tautulli: illegal group name
Old-Mac-Mini:/ doug$
Sorry, I’m not a Unix guy, so I don’t understand what’s wrong?
My Tautulli sub-directory is under my Mac’s “applications” directory (see attached)
Thanks

Doug

Thanks in advance!
Now that Plex Cloud isn’t automatically updating folders, is it possible for a tautulli script to carry out that function? If it is, is there anyone who could do this?

I have noticed in the History logs, that all my user have my own external IP address instead of their own. This seems to have started 5th April (18).
