I have one more question:
At the moment, an e-mail is sent to several recipients and each of these recipients can then see the addresses of the other recipients in the e-mail.
Where can I set up a newsletter to be sent to each recipient individually?

In the newsletter agent notification setup, use BCC (Blind carbon copy) instead of CC (Carbon Copy)

A hint at this point would perhaps not be bad?
Is in any case the solution and easier to rewrite the mail function so that he runs the “TO” as a loop and sends each mail individually.

Can Tautulli send notifications to a specific user about their Plex account? For example my uncle uses my Plex server and wants to receive an email every time someone in his house (ie the kids) use Plex. I tried setting this up but he receives notifications about everyone using my Plex server not just his account.

It seems like I have a problem with the Tautulli python libraries itself and I would like to ask if I could call to a different python script path to run the scripts in Tautulli.

Ability to monitor multiple PMS instances is a must for this software.

I’ve seen threads asking for this as far back as 2015 and I’ve not seen any movement on the request yet.

@Groodles I made code changes to Tautulli to support multiple plex servers. But it may be a long time before it might be merged to the official repo.
You can always run a new instance of my Tautulli V3 code. I recommend you not upgrade your existing ones unless you do so by copying your config and database to a V3 installation. My code is not officially supported and there is no going back to official code without a restore.

If you convert each servers’ config and database to this V3 format, you can then import your history from the multiple servers into a single V3 database.

Hi there, I have a Shield TV with PMS on it, and a NAS DS418 with my Plex media on it.
I think I can’t install Tautulli on Shield TV but I hope to find a solution about installing it on my Synology DS418. As you may know you can’t (well I didn’t find a solution yet) install Docker on the DS418 so I’m looking for a solution to install Tautulli on my DS418. I’m not a hardcore coder at all but I can try to install through SSH with Putty if you help me with.

X-Forwarded-Proto header is ignored

Hello there,

I’m trying to set up a reverse proxy with SSL-offload to publish Tautulli. It does work, but it tries to redirect continously to clear HTTP.

I am forwarding the HTTP header called X-Forwarded-Proto, which contains “https”, but it seems that Tautulli doesn’t look at it.

This makes impossible to use it in an iFrame if the parent frame was loaded using https, because of mixed content. For example, it it not possible to include in Organizr whn protected behind reverse proxy.

Then you are using an incorrect nginx configuration for Tautulli. I use ngix with Organizr myself and it’s fine.

Since one week I get the following error message in the newsletter. What can I do to make it work again? Since 3 weeks this message appears to come and it is no longer sent, before everything worked without problems.

I searched the forums for topics that might relate, but the return was insufficient. I am experiencing a non-critical issue with the latest PMS and Tautulli. I recently noticed that the weekly newsletter no longer contains Tv Shows. I searched the Tautulli logs but found no references to errors about TV Shows. Could PMS have changed the location of a flag that triggers the entry to the newsletter?

I’ve tested by adding episodes, they show up in PMS, but not in the newsletter. The newsletter does contain Movies, and it is accurate, which is probably why I had not noticed this sooner… The section heading for TV Shows doesn’t appear in the newsletter at all, I even scanned the source (of the newsletter). It doesn’t appear to be related to the number of new movies in the newsletter as I tested with varying numbers of movies and tv show adds thinking maybe there was a cut-off for the ‘size’ of the newsletter.

If I remove TV Shows from the agent, there’s no change in the newsletter. If I put TV Shows in the agent, and remove Movies, no newsletter is ever generated. That would make it appear as a disconnect between PMS and Tautulli?

Would this behavior be exhibited with a corrupted database of sorts? If the PMS side is working and things are showing up as they should, both Movies and TV Shows, that would make it seem like corruption is not likely. Which takes me back to a mismatch of some kind.

I thought about downgrading PMS, but decided against it since this is non-critical. I am not sure what to check next. Thoughts?

I have now checked the data several times and also entered again completely new it always comes the same message.

Sending e-mails via Outlook works fine.

Where else could the problem be?

You have something blocking it. Firewall, anti-virus, VPN, etc.
