Anyone run into, and fixed, an issue with history no longer works? Anything played since 11:59pm server time no longer shows. Tautulli correctly shows currently playing items, shows new content added, but under HISTORY, there is nothing beyond 11:59pm yesterday.

Thoughts?

Any comment on compatibility with MyCloud OS 5 that is rolling out?

It is not on WDs support list: https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29498/

And there are already some issues with Plex itself: Compatibility with MyCloud OS 5

Would love some assurances before upgrading.
Has anyone tested it on the Tautulli dev side?

The Tautulli WD app is made by a 3rd party so you will have to find out how to contact that person to see if they can update it. The only official way to install Tautulli on NAS devices is through Docker if it is supported by your NAS. None of the people working on Tautulli own any WD devices (or any other pre-built NAS for that matter) which is why we don’t create apps for them.

Huh? I’m talking about the Tautulli Entware app. Had it installed/upgrading for years on my WD PR4100. That’s what I’m asking about.

Anyway, it turns out in the other MyCloud OS 5 thread that it appears to be broken after upgrading.

Edit: Docker support also appears to be broken. Just FYI to anyone else looking here.

Docker images are mostly operating system agnostic. If you can install Docker on the NAS (and it works), then the Tautulli Docker image should work. There is nothing in the Docker image that depends on the OS. That is the entire point of Docker containers.

Again, I cannot confirm Docker (not the Docker image) works on your NAS because, like I said, we don’t own any NAS devices.

The Entware app is the one that is created by a 3rd party.

Can somebody help me wit notifications? I have plex server, watching on different devices and users. If we watch at home (the same network) two different users on two different devices:
On Shield one user, the other different user on android box, both from same Plex server at the same time. I get notifications on my phone nonstop (like they are stucked), so I have to disable notifications on my phone (Iphone), to jva peace.

If at the same time are watching the user one outside from my network, everything is ok. This is happening only If watching on the same network, twi users at the same time.

How can I solve this. I tried uninstal and install, nothing helped.

Thank you.

I have 3 Movie folders, upgraded only one of them to the new DB format.

It appears that upgrading the Movie DB with Plex breaks the notifications. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been having problems with notifications. Sometimes I get them, sometimes not. I have upgraded all my movie libraries to the new agent, but never connected that to the notification issue.

Notifications work fine with the new Plex Movie agent.

Does anyone know what i should add in the JSON data section for Tautulli notifications if i want to know if the the person watching the movie, uses direct stream / direct play or transcoding the video?

I have the following info right now:

{

“user” : “{user}”,

“title” : “{title}”,

“action” : “{action}”,

“serverMachineId” : “{server_machine_id}”,

“sessionKey” : “{session_key}”,

“ratingKey” : “{rating_key}”,

“serverName” : “{server_name}”,

“sessionId” : “{session_id}”

}

I tried the update process and it didn’t work so I deleted everything off the PC (python 2.7 and tautulli) reinstalled 3.x and tautulli 2.6.4 and nothing works now. I go through the process of setting up tautulli (first-time use setup) it verifies the server IS there (both checked and unchecked SSL and remote boxes) and says everything is OK. After everything is said and done with it still says “There was an error communicating with your Plex Server. Check the logs and verify your server connection in the settings.” when it’s running.

Tautulli is showing stats for videos in a library that I have deleted from plex ages ago. When I click on any of the titles, I get

Tautulli cannot find this item’s metadata. Either this media item is not available in the Plex Media Server library or it has been moved

That’s accurate, since I did delete that library, but I can’t seem to get Tautulli to drop the stats for these stale files?

Have you done any testing of Tautulli connected to a Synology NAS running DSM 7 Beta? Everything, with the exception of the Plex logs, is now hidden. I am not seeing any Plex specific data in Tautulli since I upgraded.

Windows Defender detects the Tautulli updater as a trojan:

Got a bit of a strange issues after change from google wifi to pfsense. Not sure what is causing it, but I can no longer get tautulli to connect to plex via 127.0.0.1 or the hosts IP (they both run on the same Ubuntu server 18.04 host). The only way it will connect is if I put my public WAN IP in. Otherwise, I get a “Server found but unable to connect websocket.”

Any potential ideas?

Hi
My tautulli (v2.6.5 docker armhf) cannot log media type ‘clip’ and ‘photo’. Is it possible to setup to log such mediatypes?
Google search doesn’t help :frowning:
Tnx

Logs:

2021-01-28 05:54:02 DEBUG Tautulli ActivityHandler :: Removing sessionKey 13 ratingKey 33 from session queue
2021-01-28 05:54:02 DEBUG Tautulli ActivityProcessor :: Session 13 ratingKey 33 not logged. Does not meet logging criteria. Media type is ‘clip’
2021-01-28 05:54:02 DEBUG Tautulli ActivityHandler :: Session 13 stopped.

Tautulli’s lastest build is showing as infected with a trojan by windows defender and was summarily removed from my system by windows. I went to download it from the site and the executable is showing as infected with Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B.

Please check the repository to ensure it wasn’t infected.

I already submitted it to Microsoft.
