Tautulli - Monitor your Plex Media Server

You are not starting the snap version of Tautulli. You are still starting the old version. You should completely delete/remove /opt/Tautulli folder after making sure you saved your database and config file. Start Tautull with sudo snap start tautulli.

Ah, great, thanks. That’s worked. So to move over the backed up db file and config, which folder do I need to copy them into?

Please follow the wiki instructions. It tells you how to import.

Ah, got it. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I have enabled the ā€œRecently Addedā€ notifications for Telegram… It works… but IĀ“ve seen that when the messages are launched I canĀ“t see any image of the poster in my movies.

However, if I launch manually the notification from Tautulli I can recieve the message perfectly with the poster included on it.

IĀ“ve managed to increase the ā€œRecently Added Notification Delayā€ to 900 seconds but, even with that all the days when Plex starts to scan the movies in my library the posters are not included.

Any advice?

Hi there, I started using Tautulli yesterday and have an issue with exports failing when including artwork. It only happens for Movie libraries - TV is fine. The fails don’t seem to have anything to do with long paths (which I’ve seen suggested as a possible cause) - there are paths longer than the failed ones that export with no problem. And I can select a failed movie to export on its own and that works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can’t help without logs.

Hi, Anyone able to tell me where to find the config.ini on a QNAP Nas? I forgot my Tautulli login and need to reset from the .ini ?

when will TLS 1.2 and 1.3 be supported for Tautilli? I recently did a Nessus scan of my sever and it flagged Tautulli as having TLS 1.0 enabled.

What is Tautulli’s Privacy Policy?

I was just notified Gmail is ending SMTP access -

To help keep your account secure, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password. Instead, you’ll need to sign in using Sign in with Google or other more secure technologies, like OAuth 2.0.

I’m not shocked Google is ending something hundreds if not thousands of people and apps have been using as a standard for many years, but am curious what tautulli will be incorporating whatever two methods those refer too.

No change to Tautulli required.

Thanks - will look into setting that up -
I don’t use 2 factor authentication, so the ā€˜note’ mentioning app password in the wiki didn’t stand out to me when I went looking at the wiki originally for any changes to be made.

I’ve had Tautulli installed and working on my Linux system for some time, but I hadn’t opened it in a while. I tried to open it a few days ago, and the page simply wouldn’t load (spinner forever). I updated my Linux Mint to 20.3 recently. I can’t swear to it, but it’s possible that the last time I saw Tautulli working correctly was before the 20.3 upgrade.

I tried removing and re-installing Tautulli using Snap. The removal seemed to go fine, and reinstalling progresses to the point where this appears:

But it sits here forever. I don’t know how to proceed.

tautulli.log (13.8 KB)

PMS: 1.25.7.5604

What if you refresh the page or just go directly to /home?

Yes, I forgot to add that. Going /home, it just spins forever without loading the page. That’s where it was when I grabbed the log file.

I’m not sure. Maybe uninstall with sudo snap remove --purge tautulli or deleting the config.ini file from /root/snap/tautulli/common and try again.

I did the remove --purge and re-installed with no change. Then I found the config.ini (a little deeper than you said, at root/snap/tautulli/common/Tautulli). I did the remove --purge again, deleted config.ini, and re-installed, again with no change.

What finally worked was to remove --purge, then delete the entire tautulli folder below root/snap, then re-install. It appears to be working now.

are there conditional formatting for discord notifications? Basically looking for if <movie>use this</movie><tv>second</tv><everything else>

How to restore users that were once deleted?

I have 2 users that were once gone and have now come back. With Plex no problem, but with Tautulli they no longer appear. Can anyone tell me how to get these users back?
