I use the Mac version if it matters…I have some movies with the normal version as well as an extended version. If I leave them combined, I can select “pick version” but I have to pick from resolution and bit rate but that doesn’t help. I separated them and created special posters with “Extended” and “Theatrical” labels. That however is labor intensive…any body have better idea?
Versions doesnt tell you enough, my personal method is to put them in as “local extras” under the “other” category as they show up in the bar of extra content under movie.
Example, I have the Beauty and the Beast bluray that had an extended version with optional commentary and stuff but also a theatrical cut, so i put the theatrical under extras (can see it bottom right):
Extras have full subtitle and audio stream same as a main film, you just can’t see them or select them except while watching it.
that… or vote for the related feature suggestions (might be more of a long shot)
