Terramaster F4-420 Web UI connecting to Windows server

Server Version#: Latest on TerraMaster NAS
Player Version#: n/a

I have a server running on Winwos 10, happy for several years…I’ve recently bought a new NAS to expand storage. I installed PMS from the app store for the terramaster, all absolutely fine, except I needed to bail out of the initial plex setup. I came back later hoping to continue, but it appears to have left in in an inconsistent state.

When I go to :32400 on the TM, it shows a web UI after a login, but with the No Soup message. Looking into the settings, it’s connected to my windows server - log in and log out and I even see the files from there.

I’ve uninstalled / reinstalled many times, cleared the packages from the nas and tried removing the windows server from my account (the catastrophic results of which are a different story!), but the nas steadfastly refuses to “finish” setup and become a real boy!

I’ve tried to run the setup directly using the url, but that seemed to simply skip and log me in to the Win box. I have managed to get to a point once where it told me that it had found another server on the network (the win box), but other than that it’s been the same thing no matter what I’ve tried.

It’s as though there’s something left on the nas box which I’m unable to remove to convince it to do a “clean” install…I can’t factory reset unfortunately

Anyone?

I was also facing the same issue after migrating to a NAS as I was also using the Windows server previously.
