The new apple app for iphone is horrible. The GUI is unpleasant and difficult to follow. They took something that was perfect and make it worse.
I hate to be a pessimist, but Plex does not care. They have drawn their line in the sand and they no longer care what their users want.
At this point, we need to be showing Plex how much we care by completely boycotting them. I truly believe it’s the only way they’re going to get the message.

And just to be clear, I completely agree with you. The new interface is just awful.

To use a movie reference (maybe that should become a thing in all Plex forum posts - haha), I can only imagine this is an “Emperor’s New Clothes” situation. Somehow, Plexians within the company aren’t willing to tell the truth to decision-makers. Or decision-makers aren’t telling each other the truth.
It’s either a severe lack of awareness or complete lack of integrity that is driving this. There seems to be no other possible explanation based on what we are seeing (and not seeing) from Plex.
