With a few days worth of recordings done, it does appear version 1.8.0.4109 is working very well. I’ve never had a full day of successful recording with the older 1.7x version, but 1.8x is going strong.
Often forums are used as gripe sessions, and rarely do users get to thank development for their work in chasing down bugs and making better products. Thank you for pursuing this with Plex, and making a recording solution that does seem to be vastly superior to my old Windows Media Center rig.
Plus, now my wife will be happy her cooking shows will be recorded successfully. Plex can even improve marriages! (So DON’T let up on always improving the reliability of DVR functionality Plex!)
