The device is supported by eac3, why is eac3 not supported on Android plex, is it a decoding copyright issue or something else?
The Plex app will ask your device if EAC3 is supported. If your device responds that it does, than Plex app can use EAC3 with your device.
If you can provide me the logs from your device after the app is restarted/freshly loaded and about 2 minutes afterwards, I can check what it shows as supported.
