The media library does not display photos

Synology NAS: DS-218+ with DSM 7.0.1.-42218

Hi Guys,

i hope you can help me.

Unfortunately, since I upgraded to DSM7, I can’t view the files in my photo albums. Plex always writes that the folders in this directory are empty.

All other folders (movies, music, videos) work without problems and all files are displayed.

I have already checked permissions in all folders and given Plex read/write permissions. I can’t see any difference to the other folders. Except that Synology Photos also has read/write permissions.

I really don’t know what to do. In the German Synology forum there are several users who have this problem. However, no one knows a solution.

Sorry, my error. I posted somewhere else I thought it was here. See below:

Player Version#: 1.24.5.5173

I upgraded to 1.24.5.5173 and now lost all of my posters. This is the second time this has happened. The first time I moved all my media to another folder and rescanned. That seemed to work but I can’t keep doing that. This shouldn’t happen with a simple upgrade.

Fix match scans but does not update the posters either.

Cheers, Craig
