Are you streaming from Plex’s ad supported service?

If so, which movie, 1995 or 2016?

Just to test, I tried both version on my laptop via Plex-web. Both played audio & video. The 1995 version does have about 15-20 seconds of dark screen with just the audio before the Regency logo appears. Perhaps this is what he is seeing.

1995 Movie with starring Sigourney Weaver, using a Fire TV Toshiba Flat Screen..with PLEX App installed…Only Background Sounds Audiable…Wierd One..All Other Movies on PLEX Fine…???

I don’t have a Fire TV, but I just tried it on my Fire Stick and it played fine. Apples & Oranges… I know. Just a point of reference.

Did you use to have an external AVR or soundbar connected to this TV?
I’d inspect the settings of both the TV in general, as well as those of the Plex app, if they are all set to 2.0 audio (also called “Stereo”) and nothing above that.

Just background Audio on my TV all Other movies fine ..

Try it on a Average Flat Screen TV.. Weird Background Audio Only..All Other Movies on Plex Fine…
