Player Version#:Latest on Nvidia shield
I’m using plex on an Nvidia Shield.
The last couple of weeks I got some new episodes of shows downloaded and placed into my plex library. When I go to play them, I can hear background stuff. Like the score, sound effects, etc. But the “vocals” dont work. They are SUPER low.
You can tell because most shows have a “Previously on…” narration, and it’s not heard. Then you can tell its just background music and noises.
Closing Plex and restarting it doesn’t help. I have to reboot the Shield, and then it works 100%. It usually just happens with recently downloaded shows like Superman and Lois, or Resident Alien. Shows that Ive had for a while do not exhibit this issue.
I am on a 7.1 surround sound system, all speakers work 100% with other devices (consoles, bluray player, etc). And they even work just fine on Plex. Its just for new stuff that is downloaded. Just about every time something new is downloaded and placed in the library it does this.
The first time it happened, I thought it was just a messed up download so I found a different source, downloaded it and it did the exact same thing. Rebooting the shield results in everything working just fine.
Has anyone else encountered this?
