The music via Plex to Sonos Connect stops for 10 seconds and continues

Good morning everyone,
For quite some time i have this problem:
I stream flacs from my DS218+ (using DSM 7.0) via Plex to my Sonos Connect gen. 2.
On random moments the music stops on the Sonos Connect for 10 seconds while continuing to play on my Sonos Play1 in the same network. After 10 seconds the stream continues on the Connect. Not where it stopped, but 10 seconds later, simultaneously with the Play1. So it seems it went further but was not to be heard.
I had this problem also when using the last DSM 6. btw.
I contacted Sonos support and they could not find any errors on the Sonos Connect.
I installed a different Sonos Connect (from a friend) but the problem still resists.
I contacted Synology and the did all kind of measurements and could not find errors on the DS218+. In fact they suggested to contact Plex for support. So here i am.
Is anyone familiar with these complaints? What should i do?

Are the Sonos units being grouped for playback using the Sonos app?

My guess is that this is a Sonos network or WiFi issue.

In a Sonos group, one is in charge of downloading the music from the source. It then repeats the music data to the other Sonos speakers.

If one Sonos speaker is playing the music correctly, that indicates that it is able to download the music from the source.

If other grouped Sonos speakers are cutting in and out, that implies it’s an issue within the Sonos network.

What does the Sonos system look like? How many units total? How are they all connected - Ethernet? SonosNet? WiFi? What is your WiFi system?

My network topology:
Router-NAS DS218+ wired
Router-Sonos Connect wired
Router-Laptop wired
Router-Play1 no. 1 WiFi
Router-Play1 no. 2 WiFi
There is no switch between these connections
Playback using the Sonos app direct from my library on the NAS (SMB1) doesn’t cause any problem
The problem happens only using the Sonos app to playback from Plex.
Switching WiFi on or off in the Sonos app does not solve the issue

I hope this will bring you any further
