The new landscape poster in the lastest release is wierd

Just upgrade to the latest version with the new web interface, there’s an issue with the “other video” category: all the posters display as a landscape instead of portrait.
I’ve over 300+ live concert with a poster I’d added manually due to there’s no IMDB or TVDB can match it. So maybe you can imagine what a surprise when you see the portrait poster has been primed to the widescreen.
To make the thing worse, there’s even no option I can choose display mode “vertical or horizon” for the poster.
Any comments?

yep it’s a joke, not sure what the solution is

Similar boat, hundreds of custom posters for content that wouldn’t be scraped :frowning: Hope they add an option to choose between the landscape/portrait.

Maybe most engineers working for plex don’t have their own media server at all. That the root cause for that whim.

Ok I’ve found a solution…Change the Metadata search to plex movie on both the scanner and Agent, also make sure you tick Use local assets and Prefer local metadata, That seemed to have worked for me.

Sounds good, I’ll give it a try. I’d done this for music metabase before.

Before doing this be aware that the scanner is going to attempt to find matches for your content. You could wildly mess up “home video” libraries.

That’s why you should tick Use local assets and Prefer local metadata.

Use “Unmatch” where it does.
