I have Threat Level Midnight (The Movie) downloaded from the DVD series, and I can’t get it to to show up anywhere for the Office on my Plex App.
I’ve tried all the naming conventions from this post Naming and Organizing Your TV Files as well as Local Files for TV Show Trailers and Extras
Ideally, I would like it to show up as an “Extra” or “Featurette” for s07e17 (I tried The Office (US)/Season 07/The Office (US) - s07e17 - Threat_Level_Midnight-featurette.mkv) but even if I could just get it to show up at the parent level of the show, that would be fine too.
I’ve tried rescanning library and refreshing metadata multiple times with no luck. I can’t imagine I’m the first person to have this problem, and as I’m still relatively new to Plex, I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!
Note: Corrected from original post, noting different listings at TheTVDB and TMDB
TheTVDB has it listed as a special, s00e08 (listing).
TheMovieDatabase has it listed as a special, s00e42 (listing).
Rename the file to either s00e08 or s00e42, depending on your episode ordering choice.
Plex Dance the file, returning it to a Season 00 folder.
