The option to disable secure connections is no longer available after the update

Server Version#: Version 1.25.7.5604
Player Version#:
Around last year or so, I couldn’t use the plex plugin on kodi to watch movies with a secure connection on my PMS. (I’ve reported similar problems before, like “I can’t connect to my PMS properly using the app.plex.tv web side”)
I had previously set my PMS to disable secure connections and then selected to always allow unsecured connections in the other players. But after this update, there is no more “disable” option and everything is bad again.

Yesterday, dear ChuckPa thought I should check my network status, but I really don’t know how to troubleshoot it, because in my own use, my home network environment is stable and all other services on the NAS are working fine. The only PMS that is not working properly also works fine by disabling the secure connection. But this update left me with no way out. So once again I’m here to ask for help and I hope you don’t think I’m an idiot.

@BacchusYun

I would very much like to see the log files.

I would like the DEBUG server logs (not VERBOSE) which you capture this way:

  1. Verify the logging options
  2. Restart PMS
  3. Wait 2-3 minutes for everything to stabilize after startup
  4. Now use whichever device(s) you need to capture the need for secure connections disabled .
  5. After doing so, Download the server logs ZIP file
  6. Attach it here.

There are certain devices which lost their ability to use HTTPS way back in September 2021. Does this impact you?

@ChuckPa

Thank you very much for your reply! I’ve put the log below.
Plex Media Server Logs_2022-03-28_21-15-53.zip (2.8 MB)

Also I don’t think it should be related to the changes you mentioned last September.
