My plex server is on the qnap, and it cost 100%cpu usage and it has no background task running.
I speculate if it is because my plex’s database is too big to run(700G+), or for some other reason. Please help me~
This is hard to tell without further details.
If there’s no active streaming that needs your media to be transcoded it could still be some background tasks (scanning your library, creating video previews…).
Could it be you have enabled the sonic analysis / features on your server? This will certainly eat lots of CPU.
Not sure about your database… are you referring at the db size or the size of your media library?
Yes, I have enabled the sonic analysis, but I should have made it a scheduled task.

You were referring to “something” being “700G+” in size (I take it that’s Gigabytes?!).
If that’s the size of your media, it shouldn’t cause a problem.
