Server Version#: qnap 4.12.3
Player Version#: plex for samsung 4.19.2
I have been using plex servers on my qnap hs 453dx 16gb ram for almost a year
and the Samsung TV UE49NU8000, for a few days I can no longer see the SD files (error The server is not powerful enough to convert video) I have problems with some FHD while the 4K work perfectly. The cpu never goes above 20% obviously it’s a codec problem … I installed the latest version of the server for qnap. I reinstalled the player on the tv without success, what else can I do?
You turned off the DEBUG logging. Please turn it back on?? (Keep VERBOSE turned OFF)
The logs still use the same amount of space whether DEBUG logging is ON or OFF .
With them ON, I can see what’s happening.
Please turn DEBUG ON and recreate one more time.
Also, please provide the XML of what you’re trying to play (Hover over it -> Click the Ellipsis -> Get Info -> View XML -> Copy down through the </media> marker only.

Eseguendo i passaggi come li ho scritti, Plex fa quello che mi serve.
Riavvia Plex

Thank you for the logs.

1. Restart Plex
2. Wait 30 seconds for Plex to stabilize after restart
3. Go to the movie
4. Start playback of a movie which fails.
5. Let it play for 30 seconds then stop playback or play until it fails, whichever occurs first.

No HS-series QNAP models have been tested for use with Plex.
If you look carefully, you’ll find it’s not listed on the NAS Compatibility List.
I am willing to work with this but cooperation is required.
To date, no J4xxx CPUs have been tested and certified.
To be precise, numerous devices are not in the list but they work very well … Regarding my Nas bought in June 2019 it has always worked very well, fhd, 4k never a problem … For a few days (since I bought the life pass) it has presented this problem with some files. The cpu is always below 20% the ram is not a problem, the LAN is gigabit and above all the 4k hdr movies continue to work …
Please attach the XML of one of the files which it states it cannot play.
Regarding the Compatibility List, I am the maintainer of that list.
Yes, there are different system configurations which will work but, as I stated nothing with a J4105 has been tested. I have no confirmation the QSV will work with PMS as one thinks it should.
Coming home I will extrapolate another XML but in the meantime … Is it possible to downgrade the firmware? It has worked for almost a year very well … It is from the end of January that it makes tantrums
