What is this doing for anyone but annoying them and making their hearing impaired. I do not need to see triplicate of any commercial to know what it is telling me and if I see too many I wont buy or use their product because being pushy does not work for me and the volume it out of control.
I would never pay for this station if this is how it plays I cant stand to even watch it for free now cause I do not need to keep puting the volume up and down. This makes it really unenjoyable and that is not what I watch shows to do sorry but Plex sucks

Plex have commented on the volume issue several times in the past. From what I remember they’re not (technically) able or (contractually) allowed to manipulate the ads. If you get extreme volume ads, please report which ad that was and they’ll try to sort this with their ad-partners.
Yes, the amount of ads have gotten ridiculous this past week. I’ve been watching this one show for a couple of months now, about an episode or 2 a day whenever I eat. The one 30 second ad at the beginning was acceptable, then another ad was thrown in a couple of weeks ago in the middle of the episode equaling 2 ads per episode, that’s when I turned my ad blocker back on, cause I didn’t like being interrupted in the middle of such a short show. Now this week ad blocker no longer works, and I believe its because they have built some kind of detection system in their servers that if it detects an Ad Blocker it cuts out any video, so you have to disable ad blocker to watch anything, which okay I understand, but now that ad blocker is disabled I’m getting 8-10 ads per 20 minute episode being interrupted 3-4 times. I just shut it off and exited the site after the last interruption. I don’t mind reasonable ads, but this is utterly ridiculous, and I’m done using the service if this is how it is going to be from now on.

Yeah, today I decided to watch again, and had 7 ads in the first 12 minutes.
