What happened to the MovieDB agent for TV shows. Some shows worked better with themoviedb (such as The Lost Room) as thetvdb is super uber (unnecessarily) strict about naming things sometimes in dumb ways.
I have even been considering switching 100% over to theMovieDB lately and a few days ago was playing around with some shows but now the option is gone…
still showing up for me…
I have it my agent settings (Settings > Server > Agents – TV Shows > The Movie Database) as well as when attempting to fix a mismatched show in one of my libraries (Fix Matching > Extended– agent).

even more curious as I can see the TV Shows.xml file in the Movie DB agent folder…
shouldn’t be limited to Plex Pass… the Agents support page still lists The Movie Database as a valid (if not recommended) agent for tv shows…
do you mind sharing your TV Shows.xml so I can compare and see if mine is corrupt perhaps?
I haven’t run into that file yet… should this be in the library folder?
yeah for me (Mac) its in /Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/com.plexapp.agents.themoviedb folder
aha, I was looking in the wrong place. there is a .bundle inside the application in the applications folder. So I downloaded Plex Media Server and replaced the old with the new (same versions though) and et viola. It is back. Something must have gone hinky when it last updated. Phew
