How to use themoviedb for TV Shows?

thetvdb is failing 100% of the time for me now and I’ve seen it mentioned that themoviedb can be used in its place. Any idea how I configure plex server (Linux) to use the moviedb for TV show metadata?

Edit the tv show library.

The default agent can be switched at the ‘Advanced’ tab.

This however affects only newly added serials.
To change the agent for shows which are already in the library, you must perform a ‘Fix Match’ procedure (use the ‘Search Options’ link to switch the agent).

Keep in mind that metadata from TMDB are often poorer than those from TheTVDB.

Thanks, followed the procedure - had to a “Fix Match” on the entire show (The Expanse) of course. So far not looking so good :frowning: Despite themoviedb having up to date entries for the expanse. We’ll see how it goes.
