There are channels available on HDHomerun that are not available when it is connected through Plex

I have a periodic issue with live channels they can be picked up on my HD Homerun and watched through VLC but when homerun is connected to plex the channel cannot be found?? the channels are not DRM protected they are free to Air??.

One recent (today) example: I can pick up a new channel 236 on the HDHomerun quattro tuner and watch it via VLC, but when the homerun is connected to Plex the same channel is not detected ??. Again the channel is free to Air on Freeview and channel 236 isnot DRM protected??. Is there a fix or a workaround for this and other similar channels I cannot watch because of this ?.
