There is a bug with logo's language

I noticed a bug with the title movie when there is the logo.

As non English users used mostly original title’s languages but with the synopsis in their own language.
On the Plex Experience now the title of the movie is displayed in “our” language, not any more in the original language.

For exemple :

In Plex app: the movie “A quiet Place Day 1” is named “A quiet Place Day 1” while scrolling the library, while on the movie page it is also named “A quiet Place Day 1”

In the new plex beta : the movie “A quiet Place Day 1” is named “A quiet Place Day 1” while scrolling the library, while on the movie page it is named “Sans Un Bruit Jour 1”

Also, i notices that movies without logo display the right original language.

Thank you really much for taking care of this issue

Thanks for the report @Tangs

One of our team has passed this along to our UX & Product team for review, and to see what we can do to improve this behaviour for users. Thanks again!

Any new about this issue?

When I asked they said they plan on allowing you to manually choose the logo file like you do with posters, but couldn’t tell me when that would be coming. A bunch of my logos are messed up too.

7 mounths later the issue is still here.

Just tried it with those french movies :

The behaviour has changes but it is still wrong.

Now it gives french logos and still doesn’t follow the title language :

Here you can see: the title is Heretic but Plex choose the french title Hérésie and for Captain America it chooses Capitaine America

See here that the movies titles should follow Original Titles :
