Is the logos language bug ever gonna get fixed?

What the title says. Ever since the app launched, the transparent logos have been a mess of inconsistencies that change depending on the library’s language.

My parents are Spanish speakers, so I set the library language to Spanish so they can read the summaries. At the same time, I set the app to display titles in their original language. Because of that, most posters and logos show up in Spanish. I can manually replace the posters, but the logos always stay the same. Is this ever going to be fixed? Why can’t we just force the titles to show up in english?

As I see it, you have a couple of options.

  • Set the library to English and choose Spanish as the metadata language for the movies (you are already choosing to display titles in the original language)

  • Head to TMDB (for movies) or TVDB (for TV Shows) and get the logos you want…

…and place them alongside your movies and/or TV Shows.

Hey, thank you for answering to this! To change the metadata language after setting my library to English I would have to do it manually for each movie/show, right? Is there a way to set a specific metadata language for everything?

Probably with a PlexAPI Python script or editing the db but I haven’t tried it.
