There is now a 16 library limit in the new PE, this includes friends' libraries

I can see it in the screen where you select your Favorites, and it is active as a Favorite. But I can’t find it anywhere.

So there’s no way for me to get to that missing TV Show library.

Browser works fine and the old android app works fine. So this is just the new PE, updated 04/01/2025.

Releasing the new app was a crazy decision

Me too. Can’t see either TV or movie library

My AppleTV 4K can see the library but my iPad Pro can’t.

My iPhone can see the library.

After the app updated on all 3 devices, the iPad was the only one requiring my Plex login but there’s a warning in red about someone trying to log in on another device.

I didn’t have to re log in on iPhone or Apple TV4k.

Is this the new experience, only one mobile device can access my Plex Media Server?

HOLY ■■■■ on a cracker!!!

Figured it out. It seems there’s now a limit of 16 favorites. I have 17 libraries and TV Shows was the last alphabetically…

For ■■■■■ sake!

I’m gonna have to choose one library to delete to prevent my users from being confused about the missing TV shows library.

Bump just in case anyone from Plex missed this post. Btw, pinned favorites from your friends libraries also count in this 16 library limit.

I hope either:

  1. the 16 library limit is removed
  2. some feedback that you can’t select more than 16 favorites, either on the selection screen or a popup that says “you have more than 16 libraries pinned, please remove some”
