New Update Shows Only Five Favorites

Hi all – Any ideas about how to fix this..
Plex runs from my Synology NAS and have been running without any major issues for years with only the odd update problem creating hiccups along the way. However, I have noticed this new update has affected all my IOS appliances that now show only five of the nine favorites on these devices. Nothing has changed streaming through Samsung TV, Apple TV, Laptops or Google Chrome apps and show the full nine categories just the IOS? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Apple IOS apps, so it’s got nothing to do with version being out of date. I think this is a Plex issue? Help!

do you mean on the home screen under continue watching? or when you click on the library menu? or both

HI BigWheel - No, When I select Libraries it takes me to main page, at the top left there is my DS1621plus Server library with the Last selection (Fav Name) when i select this it brings me to the Favorite Libraries, at this point I get a a list of the five i am refering to… At the bottom Right I see 'All Libraries" when I then select this hoping to see the rest I get the same five, however each one has a heart I can select, that basically turns off or on the favorite so it would reduced / increase the library choice but i still only have the five to choose from, its like the master program that pushes the information from Plex to the ISO devices can only handle five but I have nine i should be able to select from.. Like i say if I go dierctly into my Plex account I can see and select all nine so its not from my account I think there must me a limit placed on the ISO devices at this time

Are the other 4 libraries photo or music libraries? Those are not supported i the new app. We have dedicated apps for music ( Plex Amp) and photos ( Plex Photos) for those types

Hi BigWheel - I have downloaded the (Plex Amp) and there they are… Sorry I hadn’t realised, one of the folders is Audiobooks that you don’t have a work around for so it comes like music files but I can see them now!

Thank you..

Ps … .Pub books, is there a work around for this on Plex?

like for eReaders? I don’t think we ever had any official support for them. If they were in a photos library you can try our Plex Photos app. ‎Plex Photos on the App Store

I haven’t tried that, I persumed as it was multiple pictures it wouldn’t flow right as the page flick would be gone etc… I will have a look, it would be a great media feature for those who avid collectors and like to store our reads as with the Audiobook section.. maybe worth looking at these as a project as it still under the multimedia heading
