I have many recordings setup, more often than not i get “there was a error transcoding” I have done many things including but not limited to
-opened the recording drive to everyone full control and propagated permission
-moved the tuner to be within one hop of server
-updated firmware on tuner
-moved from spliter to direct cable tap
-rebooted coutless times
-created new recording dir
the only thing that I can see in reguards to the error is on the tuner side “tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)” this is my primary way of watching tv the sooner this is resolved the happier I will be
