Hello,

i’m running plex server on Mac Mini, for some reason unknown i’m getting the error:
“There was a problem playing this item”.
This error only appears on my smart tv from LG where is connected with wifi connection.
With other device there no issues (iphone).
I tested install Plex on windows platform and there are no issues, i mean, i can play videos with smart tv . I don’t know why this behavior, already worked OK but now i cannot see any movies using this two devices

Mac Mini as Server (running the latest version of plex server)
Player Smart TV (LG)

Movies are located on WD Nas Storage

Any help for this behaviour please, can’t see any way to workaround this …

I figure out that the problem for some reason is related with OSX Catalina, i tested with Mojave i have no problems.

Hi,

This annoying issue was workaround with the downgrade version of plex server, now i’ve installed 1.15.1791 and is solved my problem. i’ll stay with this version for a while.
