When I go under Settings>Manage>Libraries I am getting There was an unexpected error. I have tried rebooting the server and doing a repair on Plex Media Server but still won’t work. Any idea on how to fix this?
Have you been resetting your password? If so: You need to reclaim your server, but don't dare to touch the Windows Registry
I tried that and I am still getting the error
Did you also log out of the web app and back in?
You need to do that as well.
Are you using the hosted web app? If so, are there any web browser add-ins activated which can interfere with the data stream to and from plex.tv?
Have you tried the “Incognito”/“privacy” web browser mode?
Have you tried to force-reload the “website” or tried to clear the browser cache?
So the issue is only when I go to localhost:32400 on the plex server when I access from app.plex.tv it works fine. I even went as far as uninstalling the web browser and clearing history and trying a different browser and still have the same issue.So for now I will just go through app.plex.tv.
The local version of the web app is always a few versions behind.
You should only use it to claim the server after a new installation and in the case of an internet outage.
