There was an unexpected error during playback issue

Server Version#: 15.6.1079
Player Version#: 3.95.2

Getting an error message “There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.” when attempting to select certain shows on the web client. This is happening at the show, not episode level.

The media files work fine in VLC, I’ve tried optimising the database a bunch of times in addition to restarting Plex, my computer, etc.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

No, when I click on the show for ‘Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood’. Jamie Oliver was doing it too, but since I go the show playing on the app version it seems to have right itself for now

Is there anything? Support why don’t help? If i downgrade the player then i can start the movie or series, then it update itself immidiatelly, but it continue to work as on the older version. If i try something new, de problem appear again. What’s the solution?

I am experiencing this issue as well. Certain episodes will only play on Android/iOS devices but give this error when I try to play them on the web client or on the Windows desktop client.
