I have been getting this error since I updated to 1.2.7.2987 PMS and Webapp 2.10.0.
That is all it gives me… and says go to forums.

It’s possible there was some database corruption. If you PM me your database, I can take a look.

This could also be caused because your PMS machine is hitting it’s maximum CPU resources because of some process. I have seen this quite often lately, with the new “In Depth” analysis feature for the Server Side Bitrate limits. It tries to eat up the entire CPU even if something else is going on. And the whole server comes to a screeching crawl as a result.
If you don’t have it set up this way already, I recommend you go to Settings -> Server -> Library and make sure the settings for “Generate video preview thumbnails” and “Generate chapter thumbnails” are both set to “As a scheduled task”. Also go to Settings -> Server -> Scheduled Tasks and make sure “Perform extensive media analysis during maintenance” is turned on. Otherwise any time you add media it’s going to do this in depth analysis and could affect your server’s performance.
(The first two settings I mentioned don’t have anything to do with this in depth analysis, but they can also hog a lot of CPU resources. Hence why I suggest turning them to scheduled tasks.)
