There was an unexpected error loading this library

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2029
Player Version#: Win10, Edge or Chrome.

The Live TV function stopped working after the latest update to 1.18.2.2029. When choosing Live TV & DVR, just the “There was an unexpected error loading this library” error is displayed. The scheduled recordings and other functions of Plex (Music, Movies, etc.) are working with no apparent issues.

The tuner (HDHomeRun EXTEND) appears to be fine since scheduled recordings are working and the HDHomeRun app allows me to view Live TV.

Help!?

You can try going to https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/web/debug and clicking on the red Restore Defaults but note the message there:

All Plex Web settings, including home screen customization, will be reset and restored to their default state. NOTE: If settings sync is also turned on, settings on other Plex Web instances may also be reset. Use with caution.

That might fix your default view of the Live TV / DVR screen.
