I had to roll back to previous Plex version (1.19.5.3112-b23ab3896) in order to restore the functionality. I received a variety of errors when attempting to tune any channel. Back revving Plex was the only way to resolve the issue. Hopefully Plex is aware and working on a solution. Guess they need to invest in more QA before releasing updatesā¦

It has been a week now since installing the new server update and losing the Plex Pass premium feature of live tv dvr and I donāt see where Plex has come up with any solutions or even acknowledged the problem. Can you explain how you go about rolling back to the previous version? My server is a pc running Windows 7.

Iāve had the same problem with my HDHomeRun tuner. Thanks for posting the version that worked for you, apparently my āupdatesā folder is missing quite a bit of the versions.
I needed to use this thread
to get me the download of the older version, and used this thread to attempt to revert.
My tunerās status is back to good now.

Not sure this is the place for this, but today I noticed that the Plex Live TV will now play the episode I select and when the episode ends, it automatically REPLAYS the same episode again instead of continuing to play the next show on the channel.
Yesterday Windows 10 Pro applied the update to version 2004. Is that known to mess up Plex? Am I going to be required to uninstall and reinstall plex again (Iām already well into the double digits!)?
EDIT: FWIW, I use this feature every day to have some background sounds while I work at home. It worked perfectly for me until the 2004 Windows update and/or whatever else in Windows was updated at the same time. AFTER the 2004 update, I need to manually stop playback (using the āxā [stop] button) return to the guide and select the next episode. Otherwise, the episode I was watching starts playing again, from the point where I started it.

I donāt think so, Iāve been on 2004 well before that exact issue started happening. Has been driving me crazy lately and makes OTA basically unwatchable. Should have come here sooner. Will try to downgrade tomorrow and see if that helps.
Iām wondering if this is the same reason plex randomly decides to de-activate all channels bar one. Works fine for a few hours, but then randomly DVR planner will show āchannel not available for recordingā and the tuner page reverts to the screenshot. Driving me crazy the last couple days!

Iām having the issue wiht plex randomly deactivating my channels is there a fix for this yet?
Iām running Plex on an Unraid server and at the end of a program it will return to where I started. Therefore donāt think itās Windows 2004 related (unless that includes casting from a Chrome browser in windows to a Chromecast).
On the occasions where it doesnāt loop, a grey screen is sent and the stream is stopped. Can no longer leave a channel on to play.
So I went back and tried multiple versions and are still having the problem. Another symptom I noticed is that when watching through my browser (only place I watch it since streaming to the Shield Pro gets stuttery) the time bar is acting differently. Before it would would show where you started watching the show and indicate that it was cached back to that point. Now the cached bar only grows for a little bit and then it just starts moving over as the program progresses. Noticed that pausing the show also screws up the caching. Wonder if those problems arenāt interconnected. Also ended up deleting the DVR and recreating it and no change.
did you ever figure out the issue with your live tv? Iām having the same problem.

Had the same issue - live tv and dvr kept giving error message after working fine for months. I finally had to delete and reload an old version. I would like to install the latest update that has the skip commercial feature, but I sure donāt want to go through that headache again.
Nope - after I re-added the tuner and restarted the pms service it eventually came back up okay and has stayed that way ever since. Got lucky I guess!
Hi HDHomeRun working fine on my amazon tv and window 10 pc went to use on plex and not working. Went to retune on plex and get error āThere was a problem getting the channels for you device ā. HDHomeRun, plex and window running the latest update

Is Plex going to acknowledge this Plex Pass issue?
I can confirm that shows automatically restart after they finish and if youāre in a managed user you can only watch tv for about 5 mins before the feed closes. Works fine in iOS or Roku. The issue seems to only be in Windows. Also happens in a web browser and not just the app.
People who have reverted? Did you revert the player or the server?
Not sure what is going on but the latest versions of Plex have completely ruined the live TV. I have 2 symptoms
1 after a short while of playback just a spinning wheel of death. I notice this happens mostly when moving between commercials and the actual TV program
- When a show that is being watched by 2 people when the show ends the stream goes back to the start of the transcode saved on the disk rather than carrying on with the live channel. You can end up watching the same 30 minute Show as it never moves on
Thanks for the heads up i will be rolling back plex as this is leaving Live TV completely unusable at the moment

This is so frustrating. If itās not another problem itās now LIVE TV.
My live TV keeps repeating the show once it concludes. I use to be able to just stream the channel as long as I likeā¦ now I canāt watch more than one show without it repeating.
Also, I have to constantly close and refresh plex daily. So sick of this ish. How is this not fix by now? Plex use to be the greatest. Now itās nothing but issues.

Latest Plex for Windows 1.20.0.1406-f47a81b7 does not fix the issue.
Those who reverted, did you revert the server or the Windows client?
