Not a Nvidia Shield owner but just like the message says, not enough space. Live TV looks for 16GB of free disk space before it starts recording a show. At a minimum I would think you have to migrate off of the internal storage or run into other issues: https://support.plex.tv/articles/moving-server-data-storage-location-on-nvidia-shield/
Try pointing your transcoder directory to your external drive and see if it still happens.

The settings option to migrate storage to my external drive wasn’t there anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled Plex and PMS and it showed back up. I then set it to use the external and things seem fine, then error occurred again and the option was missing. There is definitely some issue with the latest PMS version for Android TV.
