What ERROR? You hit a problem trying to download and your developers are so poor that they can’t point you in the right direction except to go to the forum where PLEX doesn’t respond but then closes the post after 3 months! You people are amazing, NOT!

Player Version#: 9.28.0.3162 (75a3f28) on a Pixel 7 Pro
I’m regularly downloading content from my Plex server to my mobile phone, so that I can watch it while commuting. However, I lately more often than not encounter the annoying error message
"There was an error downloading this file. Swipe to remove or tap to retry."
Obviously retrying is useless, it doesn’t work no matter how often I try. But I am wondering if there is a somewhere an entry in a log file that would actually explain what the problem is so that I can fix it. Most likely it has something to do with the file format, but without details, what should I try to fix?

For that, we need more details, like what app and version, and server logs

So why that post wasn’t answered I can not tell, but can tell you that if I had seen it, my answer would be the same as you got now…We need server logs

Please switch off verbose logging, restart PMS, and then reproduce and upload a fresh set of logs
Also note that you are not following the naming standard for shows!
