I’m running a brand new computer with a brand new Plex Media Server install and Plex Desktop App install. Plex channels work, Live TV channels give me the error message ‘This live TV session has ended.’ Attached are the logs.

Plex Media Server Logs_2026-01-23_07-27-34.zip (1.4 MB)

Since this is a new server it has a new cert, but the clients have the old server cert stored so you either need to go to each client and sign out, clear cache/cookies and such or force them by removing them from authorized devices: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/all

Change your DNS to point to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, best to do it on your router.

 WARN - [HttpClient/HCl#71] HTTP error requesting POST https://plex.tv/servers.xml?auth_token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (6, Couldn't resolve host name) (Could not resolve host: plex.tv)

Need a permissions fix for:

Couldn't check for the existence of file "F:\TV Recordings\.grab": boost::filesystem::status: Access is denied [system:5]: "F:\TV Recordings\.grab"

If you still have a problem after fixing these items include a new set of logs.

I was able to resolve this issue by powering down and restarting both the HD Homerun and the router.
