Plex has some oddities about how thumbnails work.
I’d like Plex to generate many more options for thumbnails. It currently shows only 3 frames, which is limiting in 90+ minute videos. Would love some more controls, such as an option to generate 12 different frame poster candidates. Or a button to select a random frame as a candidate.
Also, Plex randomly reorders the videos in a collection whenever the thumbnail changes. Update: In fact, clicking the edit button reorders collection entries even without altering the thumbnail.
