Thumbnails for movie collections

I recently moved my Plex server from my Synology NAS to my new M4 Mac Mini. Overall, that transition has gone well. I do have on annoying problem. In my Movies library. I have quite a few collections, most of which are working just fine.. But I have 6 of them that only show a blank screen in the collections preview area. They films are all there right where they are supposed to be , but, unlike the vast majority of of the collections, there is no preview of (typically) 4 movies contained in the collection. Again, the movies are all there. so this is not a huge problem. But I would like to clear this up a bit. Any suggestions on how to force the preview of the collection as a whole?

I’m seeing the same thing but I haven’t changed/moved anything. A few of my movie collections are showing just a gray background with text saying the name of the collection and the number of movies in it, but not the usual preview picture. Funny (odd) thing is that they are like that on my Roku TV, but the preview pictures are there as usual on my PC’s browser interface. Other odd thing is that even on the PC the preview pictures are incredibly slow to populate. Not sure what that’s all about.

I have kept playing and I finally got them to show. What I did was edit the Poster in each movie in the collection. Even if I selected the same picture, I saved the “change.” And when I had done all the videos in that collection, Voila! All of a sudden I had thumbnails. Might just be coincidence, but you might try this to see if it works for you. (Yes, it is a bit time consuming; I have several collections with more than 100 videos, but for me, the end result was worth it).
