Thumbnails of Photos partly missing

Hi there
I am exploring Plex Media Server since weeks and intend to use it with my Qnap NAS TS-559 by the majority for my private 10’000 photos ans private videos mp4, mpeg, avi etc. I like the concept very much and PMS is searching all photos since a share and sorts them very nice in a timeline. However,
I cannot find a solution until now how the thumbnails of my photos can be stored in a satifactory way. Always when entering my library “fotos” it doesnt find may and leaves them blank. The thumbnails however, is essential to me. As an agent I only have one, there are no more possibilities to optimise. Why PMS cannot manage the thumbnails like f.e. Photo Station from QTS or Infuse? Anyway, I would prefer PMS but PMS seems to be good for movie-libraries but not private videos…Any help?
