Quick Fix for Missing Family Photo Thumbnails on Plex

Hello Plex Community,

If you’re experiencing missing thumbnails for family photos on Plex using QNAP (firmware QTS 5.1.2.2533 and Plex Media Server V1.30.0 - 2023/02/07), I’ve shared a workaround in the QNAP forums. Read the details the link here

Quick Guide:

  1. Open Plex, identify missing family photo thumbnails.
  2. On your QNAP server, navigate folders.
  3. In Plex, add a “Z” at the end of the filename/folder on the QNAP server, wait for scanning, then remove the “Z.”

Update: I recently updated Plex to Version 1.32.7.7621, but unfortunately, the issue persists.
