Tidal in Plex on Samsung Tizen TV "Multimedia file format not supported"

Server Version#:
Player Version#:5.50.1

Plex for Samsung
Platform Version 6.5

Just got a new Samsung S95B TV running the latest firmware, 1304 and Plex app.
I decided to try and use the Tidal embedded inside the Plex app.

However, I’m getting “Multimedia file format not supported” when trying to use Plex’s Tidal to stream music from Tidal (outside my home network).
I’ve heard this can be an app certificate issue, but the solution described (https://www.xda-developers.com/plex-not-working-smart-tv-might-be-why/) isn’t working: I tried setting Plex to"Allow Insecure Connections" to “Always”. Very likely because Tidal probably need s to connect to the Tidal servers, not the Plex ones.

I found this thread that also does NOT have an answer:

Is Tidal within the “Plex for Samsung” TV app just broken?
Any ideas for fixing it?

Anybody? Is this just happening to me?

bump for visibility.
Tidal just doesn’t work on Plex for Samsung Tizen?

I have the same issue. Brand new Samsung S95B.

It will play FLAC files from my local server absolutely fine (with no transcoding/conversion) but it won’t play anything on Tidal. I purchased Tidal so I could use it on the TV through Plex, which worked absolutely fine on my old (and somewhat cheaper!) Samsung TV.

I’m probably going to cancel Tidal if they don’t resolve it soon as it’s now useless to me.
