TIDAL - Missing/errored artist and album pages on Plex

Hi, I have noticed that the artist page appears to be missing for Camellia on TIDAL.

Here are a few albums by Camellia that display and can be listened to:

The issue is when trying to navigate to the artist page by clicking on Camellia, I am instead greeted with an error on plex.tv, and infinite loading on Plexamp.

As well, checking the browser console shows that the request got a 404 response.

This missing artist page also appears to break adding TIDAL albums to my library, as I cannot add any of the Camellia TIDAL albums to my library.

Interestingly, if you search Camellia, a different artist does appear, so this may be a naming conflict.

Update: I’ve found another artist that exhibits this same behaviour, for the artist ピノキオピー on Plex, TIDAL

The behaviour of the artist page and the linked album pages are the same as Camellia above, linking to an error page on plex.tv, and infinite loading on Plexamp, as well as being unable to add them to my Plex library.

In light of new information, this issue does not appear to be isolated to just artist pages.

I have been tracking missing tracks in the new singles do not show up thread, and I’ve noticed that I have a track that is accessible through a TIDAL playlist, but does not appear in the artist view.

Because You’re Here (feat. Miku Hatsune) appears in my playlist, but does not appear in the artist view. The Plex link to the album results in an error on plex.tv, and infinite loading on Plexamp, the exact same behaviour as the previously mentioned missing artists. What is different, however, is that I can add this missing album/single to my Plex library, unlike any albums from missing artists.

I’ve also just tested adding both this track, and an album from one of the missing artists (U.U.F.O. by Camellia) to a Plex playlist, and they are added successfully.

I’ve noticed the same thing. Megaton Sword has their music on Tidal but it does not appear in Plex. It would be great if someone from Plex support would get involved since this is paid content from them.

This has happened a lots of times to me. I’m hoping that with the recent changes to the Tidal APIs some sort of improvements are being worked on the Plex end.

I’ve found a different permutation of the issue. Diviner - Avaton will play fine through Tidal but it fails to add to my library.

Glad to hear there’s an internal report now! I’ve found another artist with a missing page, hopefully the extra data helps nail down the issue.

Found another example, and I looked more into my previous examples. This might be an issue of duplicates.

The new example I found is First of October, which is listed on TIDAL twice, with different album lists.
The first listing, here on Plex and TIDAL has a working artist page in Plex.
The second listing, here on Plex and TIDAL errors on load and does not appear in search.
Across The Road on Plex and TIDAL is an example album for the second, broken, artist.

In the case of ピノキオピー, this is a duplicate of PinocchioP, on Plex and TIDAL, which does have a working Plex artist page. The MusicBrainz page for PinocchioP has ピノキオピー listed as the artist name, and PinocchioP listed as the sort name.
